Donya Hajizadeh is a graphic designer and visual artist based in Dresden, Germany. Her practice spans visual communication, print and editorial design, illustration, and interdisciplinary art, combining digital design with a strong interest in materials and hands-on processes.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design with a focus on Visual Communication and a Master’s degree in Integrated Design from Hochschule Anhalt in Dessau, Germany. Her interdisciplinary studies brought together communication design, media design and product design, shaping her approach to both visual and conceptual work.

As a graphic designer, Donya works across layout, typography, print and editorial design, corporate design and image editing. Alongside her design practice, she develops independent artistic work spanning installation, textile-based work, printmaking and video art, exploring themes such as identity, freedom, restriction, memory and personal and social experiences.

Her work has been presented in international exhibitions, festivals and artistic projects in Germany and abroad.
