Donya Hajizadeh is a graphic designer and artist based in Dresden, Germany, with over a decade of experience. Her work blends traditional craftsmanship with modern digital artistry, reflecting her passion for visual communication and hands-on creativity.

She holds a Bachelor's degree in Visual Communication (2009) and a Master’s in Integrated Design from the Bauhaus campus in Dessau (2019). Donya has contributed to numerous international exhibitions, working across multiple mediums, including graphic design, video art, installation, and handmade crafts.

​

As a graphic designer, Donya has created visual identities, advertising campaigns, posters, and editorial designs for a range of clients.

Her video art has been recognized at international festivals such as Magmart and Now&After’18 in Moscow, addressing themes of identity, culture, and the environment.

​

In addition to her graphic and video work, Donya is dedicated to handmade arts, including ceramics and bookbinding, where she applies the same attention to detail as in her graphic designs.

She has participated in workshops and exhibitions in Iran, Turkey, USA, Germany, Italy, and continues to explore cross-disciplinary collaborations in her creative practice.
